Our favorite drip brewer. Watch the how to video below.

Grind just before brewing for the best flavor. For the Technivorm, grind to the size of rough sand.

Broad Ripple & Indianapolis

Downtown Indianapolis at dusk
1821

Indianapolis, founded as the state capital

Laid out by Alexander Ralston, who helped design Washington, D.C., the city became a hub on the National Road and then the rails, earning the nickname Crossroads of America.

An auto boom led to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1909. Today it is a cultural, medical and sports capital of the Midwest.

Broad Ripple, platted as its own village

Jacob Coil platted the village in 1837 and named it for the rippling rapids of the White River. The Central Canal and later the Monon Railroad brought growth, and weekenders escaping downtown.

Indianapolis annexed Broad Ripple in 1922, but the village kept its independent spirit and grew into today's bohemian home of art, music and eclectic dining.
