๐ถ Walk to dinner
500 steps to Broad Ripple restaurants and bars, half a block to the Flower Alley murals, and 1.5 blocks to the Monon Trail.
๐ About 20 minutes to the track

๐๏ธ Make a week of it
Take a track tour, visit the IMS Museum, and catch Carb Day and the 500 Festival Parade downtown.
From our front door
- The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is about 20 minutes by car on a normal day.
- On race day, leave very early or use a rideshare or race day shuttle, since traffic around the track is heavy.
- Downtown, for the 500 Festival Parade, is about 15 minutes by car or a Red Line ride from the station a 7 minute walk away.

Our tips
- Book months ahead. Race weekend is the biggest weekend of the year in Indianapolis.
- Pack coolers in the full kitchen the night before and head out early on race morning.
- Celebrate after the race at Broad Ripple spots like Fire by the Monon or Half Liter BBQ.
